1994 ~ Gearbox

1994 – Borg-Warner T5 gearbox introduced to replace the Rover SD1 LT77 gearbox.

The original Rover SD1 LT77 gearbox had reverse to the left.

The T5 gearbox is to the right below fifth.

One trick to remember for the T5 is to select fifth before reverse, this avoids an embarrassing graunch trying to select reverse gear. This is a trait of the T5 box as oppose to a fault.
