1993 ~ Chimaera Launched

1993 saw the launch of the TVR Chimaera with 4.0 litre and 4.3 litre engines.

The name Chimaera is derived from Chimera, a creature made of many animal from Greek mythology.

The car was designed by Peter Wheeler, John Ravenscroft and is a Grand Touring variant based on the Griffith running gear and chassis.
